This guild was chartered at Coronation July 19, 2014 by Eirik & Driffina with Alisaundre and Gala as the group administrators and co-founders.
This guild also has a variety of sub groups such as the An Tir Players and the An Tir Choral Group. Members use group to share resources and to converse. Event coordinators also use the group to reach and recruit entertainers for events.
The guild itself generally sponsors and encourages performances and classes of all types from court music to plays to bardic fires. The Guild hosts an open Bardic encampment for bards and their adoring fans at May Crown, September Crown and sometimes 1-2 other events. We also host bardic circles and sometimes classes at the encampment or
other designated locations at events. The guild is non-hierarchical. Generally, any founding member or designee can invite you and you are officially a member. At that point, should you choose to organize a performance (open stage, madrigal group, dance music, etc.) you may do so under the auspices of Bards Of An Tir.
